Getting it done for Rocky
I've worked hard for Rocky and Gracemere every day since I was elected. I'm not here for prestige or titles, I'm here because I love our community and I love helping people.
I know things are tough for so many at the moment, especially the small businesses and workers who have been hit hard by COVID-19, but my focus is on helping to drive our economic recovery, whether its by lobbying for local infrastructure projects, supporting small businesses or working to ensure Central Queenslanders have access to the same opportunities as people in big cities.
I firmly believe our region's best days are ahead of us - we can be, and should be, a powerhouse in agriculture, mining and manufacturing - and I will continue to work everyday towards making that future a reality.
Support Small Business
One of the best things we can all do to help our community and drive our economic recovery is to support local small businesses.
The Palaszczuk Government is helping local businesses through programs like our COVID Adaption grants and Made In Qld grants for manufacturers, as well as our free apprenticeships and back to work initiatives but this is something our whole community can help with.
Please buy local and support local businesses whenever you can.
